The Therapist

Curiosity in people and subjectivity has driven me to accumulate diverse and abundant clinical experience. I have worked across a variety of settings (including Priory Hospital, Outpatient CAMHS, Homeless & Addictions Services) and with a variety of age-groups and backgrounds. My experience has reinforced the belief that chronic and enduring suffering is something highly individualised and unique.

I will approach our sessions psychoanalytically - intrigue in the subjective relationship with your symptoms as opposed to prescribed ways of addressing them. My orientation in psychoanalysis is pluralist and includes interest in the works of Freud, Lacan, Fanon and Winnicott. I now work as a psychoanalyst in formation in private practice. My practice is regulated by the Guild of Psychotherapists and I abide by UKCP’s code of ethics (The Guild of Psychotherapists | ‘Find a Therapist’ directory - Reg Charity No. 1093686).
